About

Bill Will is a conceptual sculptor and installation artist whose work is known for its use of humor to address sensitive social and political issues.

Will typically uses mundane materials such as pennies, bowling balls, and appliances to create work that points to the absurdity of human behavior. Many of Will’s projects are kinetic and include low-tech motorized components.

In addition to temporary work in galleries and museums, Will has completed more than 30 public art commissions.  He is a professor emeritus at Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, Oregon.
